Also, it’s BASED ON TAMING OF THE SHREW. Amazing! Plus JGL cemented my crush on him with this turn. Bianca is adorbs, and Cat needs TO STAND UP STRAIGHT, YOUNG WHIPPERSNAPPER.

I actually don’t like Julia Stiles in this movie, because she sucks at everything (c’mon Dexter, seriously?!), but the movie is so fantastic I don’t care.

leslie, i knew it was an actual high school but THAT DOESN’T MAKE IT MORE REALISTIC. it’s like saying that gossip girl isn’t ridiculous because real NYC teens act like that. STILL PREPOSTEROUS.

Also I have to give a shout-out to Larisa Oleynik, star of one of my favorite teen shows, “The Secret World of Alex Mack.” She doesn’t do much in this movie but pout and whine and sport unfortunate hair styles, but I still love her as Alex Mack.
