oh man, rice missing-ness overtakes me. i think this phenom is especially strong for me when i read of or see rice peeps who i knew but not in the we-will-be-in-touch-forever way, because my sense of them stays in a very rice dimension.

the “gorgeous weather” photo looks totally unreal & lovely. i’d like to take a walk down that street, please. this post makes me realize that i have no mental image of DC, beyond, ya know, the capital and stuff.

also, it is UNBELIEVABLE that you were in DC in the 90s.

ooh! ooh! The Gibson!!!!! I’ve read about it on bon appettit! I’ve wanted to go there forever! Unfortunately the last time I’ve been out of the airport* in DC, I was 13 and we weren’t allowed to go to anything more exciting than the US Mint.

* i also had my first relationship in the DC airport. It was with a boy named Josh and we dated for 45 minutes, but then he said that things were moving too fast for him, so he dumped me. So then I listened to country music (the music of pain) on the flight home in order to heal.

I spent 3 months in Maryland from Jan-March. OMG. I’ve never seen snow like that before and I had to shovel out my rental car. And the snow turned into this crappy sludge. blech.

But I’m with you, Sarah. I really don’t like the snow!

Sarah forgot about Booth or Dare, though – that’s where you have a bunch of people in a booth, like we did at The Passenger, and then since everyone’s sitting you just try to dare people to do other things.

It wasn’t nearly as successful, but I liked the symmetry of it. And next time I will force Booth or Dare to work!
