Having gone to college in the bitter cold, I second the other comments about lots of layers! I used to take up two seats, one for me and one for all of my layers. Which is why I now live in Texas…

Amazingly, it’s been 4 years since I graduated from law school. But if 2009 is anything like 2005, and undergrad is anything like law school (It’s not. One involves fun, the other unrelenting pain), then I can confirm that 80% of the class is, at any given time during a lecture, screwing around on their phone or laptop.

I am so excited to read this post!!! Can’t wait to see the episode. Last week’s episode had me BAWLING something serious, so while I enjoy the drama, my fragile psyche needs the show to move on to other storylines like Julie’s college trip. Nice work on the Boston college student attire, ladies…I’m glad they didn’t make you wear leggings as pants!

Yes you dress in layers… Probably wearing a sweater and scarf with your jacket on your chair would have been appropriate.

Lecture Halls at BU do NOT look anything like those at UT. Obviously they should have just flown all of you to Boston to be authentic.

sounds like you had a lot of fun! i was an extra last season for the championship game… i even made it on camera… my face took up about half the tv screen because i was sitting right behind Matt Saracen’s grandma and they did a close up… they got me in a bad take b/c i was smiling after the opposing team scored a touchdown… oops… my experience was a little different from yours, but don’t want to get in to it on your blog! i’ll tell you all about sometime soon!

Man I feel like I just relived that amazing day. I WAS ON FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS! I ATE IN EAST DILLON HIGH SCHOOL!! OK enough spazing out. You kind of captured it all, and I will say Texans Don’t Know How to Dress for Cold. Every single person before us in line had to have wadrobe change for some reason or another. We were the first ones that nothing had to change..East Coast Represent!

I am eagerly anticipating the next email I get from them. And Sally you need to watch it NOW! I have full confidence Sarah will convert you..then you must pass on to others..as I have done to so many.

FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS! FEEL THE LOVE IN PANTS WORLD! oh man it makes me so happy when i talk to people who spazz out about the show as much as i do. as for you, sally, i will be loaning you season one IMMEDIATELY so that you, too, can experience panther (lions) pride.

and you can kind of see my outfit in that rules picture– crimson velvet jacket plus a fall-hued scarf. the wardrobe lady just took one look at me and said, “you looks SO boston.” yeah, i nailed it.

I second Sarah’s Dad’s comment. Iowa does the same thing. Just like in the Texas summers I freeze half the time and always carry a sweater with me in the heat of August.
