I have actually never seen this movie! Can I still qualify as your leopard print-wearing best friend? I could TOTALLY be a romance novelist, just like Allison Janney in one of your other favorite movies, 10 Things I Hate About You, all: “undulating with desire” and “what’s another word for engorged?”

julia, it turns out that you’re not the only one who has this movie memorized. the crowd was off the chain last night! two guys came dressed in DIY wilderness girl uniforms, and i even got people up on stage to dance the freddie!

i think my favorite part was booing every time the red feathers were on the screen. HATE THEM.

I lobbied my girl scout troop to start selling our cookies using this method. Nothing doing. They decided to talk about boys instead.

There is nothing about this movie that I didn’t love then, or now. Plus, tiny Jenny Lewis!

Favorite. Post. EVER!

I love that movie so much! Mom recorded it for us, and I still have the VHS for some reason. (Kindergarten Cop is also on the same tape…double feature of awesomeness!)

My sister and I used to watch Troop Beverly Hills all the time, I think we have the whole thing memorized! I would TOTALLY join the adult Austin version!
