hey new york, get ready for my pants!

y’all i’m going to new york city tomorrow!!

henri and i are making our annual pilgrimage to the new yorker festival, and i am totally a HYPER HYPO RIGHT NOW!!!!

here are a few of the things i’m planning on doing:

  • ask james franco why he’s going to be on general hospital.
  • eat my first pretzel croissant!!! what what!!! (at the city bakery, which sally told me about cos she’s a good friend)
  • hang out with some of highly exceptional rice pantsers, amber and ryan!
  • go to s’mac, a restaurant entirely devoted to MAC ‘N’ CHEESE SOMEBODY BETTER HOLD ME DOWN!!!! (*many* thanks to selina for the rec)
  • freeze my pants off cos it’s like 45 degrees there WTFFFFFFF.
  • hold hands with henri, which is always nice but is somehow even more fun on the streets of new york.
  • PROBABLY go to dean & deluca and pretend like i’m saying hi to felicity. i don’t think henri will hold my hand for that one though.
  • walk around with calvin trillian and eat at all of his favorite restaurants I AM NOT KIDDING YOU GUYS.
  • find my identical twin and finally understand why i never fit in in the country. oh wait. that’s “big business.”
  • OTHER STUFF THAT IS AWESOME!!!

i’m always open to suggestions (esp. regarding tasty business) so tell me, pants world: what’s one thing i HAVE to do in NYC?

you’ve GOT to check out erin’s recent post on FYA about the twilight SAT book. no seriously. it’s for real. and here’s an SAT word to describe it: preposterous.

finally, the guide we’ve all been waiting for: the many faces of suri cruise!

have y’all seen slim thug’s latest video, “still a boss“? oh daily show, you’re so awesome, you even make good rap songs about the economy!

  1. Don’t forget to go to Highline Park and Books of Wonder! These are v. v. important places that need to be graced by your Pantsness!

  2. Yes, the High Line is a must! Also, s’mac is amazing, but avoid the buffalo chicken mac and cheese. Ben got that once and he was veeery sorry. Two good things do not necessarily make one better thing.

  3. Artichoke pizza, is the name of the restaurant in lower east side AND what you should order. A slice to remember. A heart attack worth having.
