Ooh! I’m for the Mac n’ Cheese. And the New Englander in me says add some Lobster. Rich!

For sweet I love funnel cakes ’cause they remind of all the fairs I would go to as a kid. Load ‘em up with butter and powdered sugar!

Where in the hell is puff pastry in my life? I haven’t encountered a good French pastry up in this Texas joint. Turnovers, how I miss thee!!! However, because puff pastry can never really be that colorful or whimsical, it will never be the next it food, alas!

Cake balls = too much frosting
Petit fours = nast.

The final vote goes for MACARONS!!!!! OMG they are pure deliciousness!!

Also, I wish that pretzel croissants would catch on. I miss those too!

I would also support the empanada push.

Mac n’ cheese is obviously the triumphant savory option.

I love the cake balls idea. But then again, it’s hard to compete with mac and cheese. My favorite restaurant in Atlanta serves fried mac and cheese balls and they are TO DIE FOR. That could work because of the cute small portion fetish that made cupcakes so popular.

I’ve been pushing for brownies and blondies for a couple years now. I love rich fudgey brownies so much.

SO MUCH.

But I’ll totally go for petit fours, too. I remember the first time I ever had petit fours. I ordered them from the Swiss Colony catalog in high school because they were so cute, but also so I could get the free gift, which was a box of truffles.

PETIT FOURS! YES! EDEN! YOU ARE SO RIGHT!!!!!!

i first read about petit fours in the american girl “samantha” book and then i wanted them REALLY REALLY BADLY. obvs i’ve been eating them for years but just last year i FINALLY got the official “samantha” petit fours, i.e. an accessory for the doll.

and yes, i’m 30.

p.s. the other idea i just had is macarons! C’EST DELICIOUS!
