Actually, I’m a “partner” (the clever moniker all of the Starbucks employees have because “employee” sounds so blase) and the new music that just hit the stores includes such hits as “Whatta Man” by Salt N’ Pepa/En Vogue – so it’s not as if all the music is la-la lands and mellow stuff. I would think that “Whatta Man” is very karaoke-able.

At any rate – if you came to my Starbucks, I’d probably be pretty happy you were there. They pulled a pretty quick trigger on that phone call – how long does “We’re Not Gonna Take It” last, anyway?

The way the singer sang the song in front of starbucks I could have sworn she was either a former employee or someone who works at a rival coffee shop. Perhaps if she had chosen a song from the Starbucks music label you would have gotten free coffee.

Oh, Starbucks…. way to be ridiculously predictable. Actually, I couldn’t have predicted Starbucks would be that stupid.

This looks awesome, but is one of the few things I would not be down for, at all. I’m still a little European in that I’m not huge on attracting attention to myself.

But you all do it so well!
