I’m glad you and your camera was there!! I forgot all about it until I picked up a Chronicle on Sunday and thought to myself I need to go this when is it? Oh it’s right now. D’oh.

I would have loved to have met Dr. Cox and Sarah’s dad. And to have sung karaoke with them.

we were going to go to that and didn’t because we’re still trying to get our post-move finances in order. Looks like it was a blast. Wish we could have popped for the tickets with after-party access.

I find it hard to believe that you didn’t have *anyone* who would come into the office and ask if you had a case of the Mondays when you were in Craytopia, Meredith.

Working in the arts, though, you’re right – you should make a movie that’s just called Office Cray. That would be hilarious I’m sure.

Agreed, Henri. I kept running my cursur over the lines, muttering, “Where is the link? Which of these words link?”

Matt and I rewatched Office Space Sunday night so we could feel like we were there with you guys and this amazing experience. It totally worked! Having just watched the movie, plus reading this blog and watching the videos Sarah took, I totally feel like *I* met the Office Space cast! But I did not, sadly.

Office Space is definitely a cult classic. I’ve seen that movie 400 times and every person my age can say the same thing. Fortunately, I’ve never really had to live the experience, always working in the arts. But Matt has some stories.

I worked at a T.G.I.Friday’s when I would come home from college in the summer and it is everything “Office Space” makes it out to be… and more. And yes, somewhere I still have my flair.

nah, John. The mac would break down on poor Kylie midway through sending her photos and she’d try and try to fix it herself, but its user interface would make it impossible! “Where is DOS,” young Kylie would mutter as she endlessly (and fruitlessly) tried to hit ctrl+alt+delete to bring up task manager just so she could end the processes which had hanged. And then she’d have to take it to the Genius Bar, and they wouldn’t get it back to her for a week and within that time she’d start going through withdrawals. Sad times for Kylie.

OH MAN. Okay, I was amused, but not jealous, when I read about Bill Pullman and Uchi (Uchi was the bigger draw there). I squeed with delight to think of Fred Savage touching people I have also touched. BUT OFFICE SPACE??? I would have died. Like, ten minutes in. There would have been death from excitement.

I work at an engineering company, so of course for us Mike Judge is akin to God. Every year I meet new grads who tell me, “you know, before I started working here, I thought ‘Office Space’ was a comedy.”

what a sweet night. i’ve always wanted to meet lumbergh. he’s in so many things. and i can’t take him seriously (like when he was the vice president on the west wing). same goes for kal penn. he will always be kumar to me.
