thanks to a fabulous suggestion from katie, i will be summing up 2008 by giving out POSHIES to all of my favorite things.
but i need yr help!
although i already have some clear winners in mind, i would love to get yr suggestions for both categories and/or nominees.

Me seeing the oldest looking dude from the Beastie Boys when I got my SXSW wristband.
Sarah and I seeing (though only Sarah recognising) some guy from Friday Night Lights with a bunch of girls near Mugshots.

Little kid leading Phillies fans in cheering.

let’s not kid ourselves, i know what’s going in the latter category, but best book would be interesting.

Most coveted celebrity outfit: I’m going to have to go with Gwyneth’s black lace minidress w/ the tuxedo jacket and those hot McQueen heels she wore for the Iron Man tour. YOWZA!

Most tragic celebrity break-up: Marilyn Manson and Evan Rachel Wood, of course! No, just kidding. Does it matter what I think? I know that you’re choosing Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling, anyway!
Most squeeable animal picture: That little hedgehog with the cast and the mouse comforting him. Eeeee!

Best Pantsers pic: You as Princess Peach with Tim/Mario and Fred Savage!
Best celebrity sighting: Mine! When I saw Thomas Hayden Church in a cowboy hat and rubber waders at the bait counter at Gibson’s General Store in Kerrville, TX. It may not have been as awesome as shaking hands with Bill Murray at a cave party, but the sheer randomness really pleased me.
Best mac ‘n’ cheese: Well, this won’t win b/c no one else has had it, but the Publick House in Boston has a beer mac ‘n’ cheese w/ truffle oil and caramelized onions…LORDY!
Most squeeable video: That tiny tiny hippo! WHO WILL BE MINE. OH YES, HE WILL BE MINE.
best celebrity baby- frances pen, daughter of amanda peet. saw this little one in a gap ad and fell in love with her little cheeks.
most coveted celebrity outfit- i am still waiting on that light yellow dress that michelle williams wore to the oscars like 2 years ago.
most tragic celebrity break-up- i agree with jessica. i miss ryan and rachel.
best celebrity sighting- umm, how about when our own posh deluxe saw tim freakin’ riggins outside of beauty bar? (amongst numerous other fnl sightings)
best mac ‘n’ cheese- this is going to be controversial, but i still think lambert’s takes the cake (or, rather, the cheese) on this one.
most squeeable video- the one where the kitten was being cute. you know the one. with the little kitten. it meowed and did cute stuff. yeah- that one.
we def. need a best mac n cheese award.
SURI WINS BEST BABY! THIS EVERYONE KNOWS!! In fact, most covetable celeb fashion? Uh, anything suri wears. But in normal human sizes.
most squeeable video is the little french girl telling a story about alligators and monkeys and lions. loved it.
