4) her best friend and fellow nerd is incredibly punctual.

5) her future career as a hallmark writer is highly questionable.

6) she is, apparently, a healthy eater.

7) when in doubt, she goes with option D.

We’re having a Theater banquet! It’s going to be at the same hotel as the band’s! This is gonna be SO neat. Except, most people are bringing dates. I don’t know anyone that I want to invite. I think I’ll go stag. Well, I did a good deed– I convinced Rachel to call Danny and ask him to the banquet. It took a lot of patience, but with Talena’s help, she did it. She’s SO excited!!

I don’t think I’m as excited because:

1) I didn’t expect this fancy thing– I imagined hide ‘n’ go seek, pizza, NO DATES.

2) I don’t have anyone that I am madly in love with and want to ask.

3) What if everyone else has a date?

Oh well. I’ll still have fun. I REALLY don’t want a date– too much pressure.

Anyway, our play is tomorrow, and we are NOT ready. Who is? We need certain props , and Courtney doesn’t even have a costume! Mrs. Ford, where are you? Well, this sounds conceited to say, but I’m pretty sure of *my* part– I mean, I know I’ll do a good job.

Happy Cinco de Mayo! Happy Birthday, Uncle David! Happy Birthday, Seth!

Well, tonight was the Choir Banquet & GSL Banquet. I went over to Talena’s from about 5-6. However, I did not see Robert. I wish I had– we always have good arguments. Talena was really excited, and I hope everything turns out well. I won’t talk to her til Sunday cuz tomorrow she’s leaving for New Orleans with the choir. I kind of helped her get there because I helped sell candy bars. I really hope she has an ultimate time.

Anyway, the GSL banquet was at Pappasito’s. YESSS! I have been in lust for food all day. First, Mom put a… chicken salad sandwich from the Bake Shoppe in my lunch!! I love her! Then, of course, came dinner. I shared fajitas with Linnea and had sopapillas for desert [ed note: apparently, my mispelling of "dessert" has been a life long problem]. Ahh, I had a taste of heaven. It was delicious. It is, however, sitting heavily in my stomach.

Seth won the “Most Punctual” award– he got a children’s book about clocks! Ha! I made him a card that reads:

Front: Happy Birthday! And here’s to many more!

Inside: However, there will not be much more if you do not change your eating habits and start eating healthy (like me). Ha, ha, ha (little lunch joke for people who are reading this and not getting it) [ed note: seriously, who did i think would be reading this?!! my biographer?!]. Happy B-Day, Seth! Your HEALTHY friend, Sarah.

Took the E.E. in English– kinda tricky, if you ask me! Like, “What is the author’s attitude toward the parents?” I put D) affectionate.
