I object to this post to the extent that it depicts infant cannibalism, which is clearly wrong, or at the very least, somewhat unethical.

I loved that picture with the terrified baby. I think it is supposed to be the alien coming out of the stomach scene, but the wide eyed look of terror cracked me up. Yeah, that's a little bit evil sounding.

Babies in food costumes is weird...especially the freaky "clam chowder" aka dying turkey...the baby's face says it all. I've never been an Anne Geddes fan, except for the rare pic that simply illustrates pure beauty (without all the props). These pictures here are really scary...Sarah, where do you come up with these things?!?!?

awesome. i don't think i would put those as my top 10. i think i would put:

1. ok sure, hamburgers
2. hot dogs (tradition etc)
3. pizza (!)
4. chips n queso
5. salsa
6. cherry pie
7. kolaches
8. peanut butter and jelly sandwiches
9. mac n cheese
10. brunch*

That's what American means to me, anyway. Although I eat far more hamburgers in this country than in the US and A.
but those are a very subjective list, but that is not different from the other list. i doubt there's a baby-in-a-kolache pic tho. good post :)

* i just had a discussion with a colleague yesterday about the lack of brunch as an institution in this country.

I was in Starbucks today and trying to be funny I said "Give me the most patriotic drink you guys have. . . . the Green Tea Frappucino." The baristas looked puzzled. So ever quick with the wit that I am I said. "It's green like money. Yay capitalism." Ok so maybe you had to be there but I thought it was funny.
