Jennifer, from what I can tell of these pictures, you were like the Carrie Bradshaw of Sarah's high school, fashion-wise. Edgy!

Is that picture from Mrs. Fritchey's class? I think we were watching a movie-possibly the horribly drab and never ending Tess of the D'Urbevilles? (Loved the book-especially in college, but in the movie, she spent a lot of time walking). I am amazed by how long my hair was and that I was wearing a dress.

I tried to be a band nerd in college-I got Jennifer to teach me clarinet. Sadly, I never moved passed the "clarinet sounds like a duck in serious misery" phase, so the band thing didn't work out.

A fellow band nerd (and clarinetist at that!). I love it! I especially enjoyed the guide to marching, which brought me back to my own days in a 100 degree Texas parking lot. Ahh, the memories!

First, thanks for all the awesome comments!!!!! Second, I am soooo excited that there are so many band folk in Posh world! Third, I totally remember the party where Kevin started a fight to impress me and I missed it. We were so full of drama...

As for tubas, I had a friend in college who created a Tuba Valentine's Day just to hit on the girls. It worked.

For clarification, I cannot kill anyone and the only skills I have left from the military are really gross medical skills to stabilize really gross injuries. Every year, I had to have training on "Self Aid, Buddy Care," (yes, that was the real name) a.k.a. how to save a military member from dying.

All of our missions were coded, and I can speak complete sentences in acronyms. We even had Operation Find Santa during Christmas time and we would track Santa and his sleigh.

Thanks again for reading about me and commenting in Posh's world! Any friend of Sarah's is a friend of mine.

this was an awesome interview.

my halloween party was sophomore year b/c that was the starting point to me dating ashur then. i won't even go into the drama that was before that when i thought he liked sarah and not me after all b/c he was going to be a green m&m. oh wait. i just did.

i wish i knew what senior year picture you meant to post b/c i only saw the caption for it.

my first jennifer memory was sarah's 6th grade birthday party/sleepover and jennifer told this really scary story to set up a "lighter than feathers" seance thing. and while everyone talks about her band geekiness, she also has a really nice singing voice.

i'm glad that through my friendship with se i've been able to keep up with jennifer more. and of course through facebook.

i have several friends living in Atlanta now as does Sarah (since they're the same friends) so I'm thinking road trip. :-)

I wonder how long until Kevin Schorp googles himself to find this picture of you and your costume. It was actually pretty close to the real thing. I began to think how odd it was that you would study him so closely, but when someone wears the same thing every day for months on end, it probably isn't too hard to mimic.

Great interview! A question you left out:
How long would it take for you to kill me?
(no weapons other than the WMD that is known as "Jennifer")

Also - Did you have any code names on your secret missions?
Jacqueline Bauer?

I started out with the trumpet and moved on to the Euphonium. Band Geek here as well. Our marching band played some AC/DC and Zeppelin it was pretty cool. Even played some Clapton in the Jazz Band that would play at lodge meetings. Cool Times.
