Hey Posh! First let me say HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY! I am such a fan of birthdays! Mine is May 31st and I am already planning and making wish lists, haha. Thanks for posting all this pics! field day looks amazing! but my favorite part as a kid were the snocones. I love me some snocones.

(also, the participation ribbons. I was the kid who always got the participation ribbon and felt like it meant something.)

i just want to say, for the record, that office should have field days. i’m not talking about so-called “retreats” where everyone has to do the trust fall. even though i was just playing in the park on saturday, i would give ANYTHING to be outside right now, running in a 3-legged race. but then… who would i have to run with? hrm.

Those were actually Semi-Pro socks, Meredith. The Hack-N-Slash ones (mine, at least) are maroon. But we would have let you wear those for Field Day, too.

And John, the Green Team does *not* rule. The Green Team drools. The Yellow Team wins all!

Except for Tug of War. We only won that when we had the Green Team out-manned. We’re the brains of this operation, not the brawn.

I’m so bummed I missed it! Although the weather was just as lovely while I was drinking beer and reading on my dad’s front porch in East Texas. But there were no games. Or cupcakes. Or pinatas. Or ribbons. Yeah, you guys definitely win.

I recognize Henri’s socks! Those are totally Camp Hack-n-Slash socks. I also have a pair. That I could have worn, were I at field day. *sob*
