the new radicals: mother we just can’t get enough
is anyone else having issues with my blog? not like, uh, editorial issues (hopefully!) but technical issues?
when i look at it, all of my sidebars are gone, and i can’t click on comments.
MAAAAATTTTT!
good thing he’s coming to austin tonight!
“matt! welcome back! great to see you! now FIX MY BLOG.”
anyway, guys, it’s friday, and i’m listening to the above song and i’m just feeling really excited about the weekend and sxsw and spring weather (fingers crossed).
i’m doing a couple things this weekend that i’m hoping will be blogworthy– my mom and i are going to the farmer’s market on saturday, and then on sunday my parents and i are going to the CHOCOLATE FESTIVAL. SWEET (CHOCOLATE) CRACKER SANDWICH!
also i’m hoping to see one or two of the sxsw movies. you know, so i can spoil them for you.
question: i’ve been thinking about interviewing people for this blog. not famous people, just my friends. you know, i could ask them about their jobs or their life philosophies or if they’ve ever shoplifted. what do you guys think? i *swear* i could make it interesting for readers who don’t actually know these people.
moving on
HOLY CRAP. have you guys heard of a “blood tattoo”? i just read about it on ananka’s diary, along with some high-tech contact lenses that will hopefully allow me to see christian bale cheering me on while i work out on the elliptical machine. so, these blood tattoos will apparently let you do things like write and send emails… FROM YR ARM.
dude, where’s my hoverboard, cos we are TOTALLY in the future now.
speaking of awesomeness, have you guys seen the new santogold video? with the black horse and people spewing green paint and bouncing balls? uh, yeah. i cannot WAIT to see her at sxsw.
and hey! the beer can house is in the ny times!!!! and apparently it’s open to the public, which is GREAT cos i’ve always wanted to go inside but i was kind of afraid of it being… i dunno, like the inside of the five man? my favorite quote from the article: “one good thing about not having any zoning is you can do stuff.” double true, houston. double true.
i find the new struz pony particularly horrifying since i just wrote that post about my little pony, and the images of those sweet, unsexualized little horsies are still fresh on my mind. strutz are basically what would happen if barbie and a horse got a little… ok, never mind.
and finally, cos it’s friday, here’s an adorable celebrity baby for you to squee over!! chubby cheeks and chubby arms and YAY! hi baby!

happy weekend, pants world!

I can’t see the sidebars either.
And I’ve totally shoplifted.
Who’s the celebrity that owns the baby?
And…… though I have to work to do….. ahem…. here it comes….. SPRING BREEEEEAAAAAAKKK!!!!!
I never got to have “spring break” in Ireland. We just get a month off between classes and exams. Not quite the same, really.
I couldn’t see the sidebars, and there was not the white middle part either and then I clicked again and everything reappeared…
I know I messed up the grammar in that sentence some how… but hey, that’s why I am an art teacher!
I love the idea of interviews! I like reading about other people!
that’s amanda pete, right?
interviews sound like a great idea.
sidebars are not.
now sidebars are…. interesting or perhaps jsut fixed….
Yes, Talena that was Amanda Peet. I have enjoyed her since the Whole Nine Yards. She was brilliant in the short lived Studio 60. I also think the interview idea is a great one. I don’t know many of your commenters but we can all agree that Poshdeluxe rules the schools sandbox.
