Sarah--stumbled on your blog and just about flipped out, I GREW UP in SYRACUSE, and it was crazy how well you captured it's essence in words and pictures. I cant say I have ever spotted a hipster there, but due to the hipster population increase I would say there are probably a few, and if they're anywhere, they are at freedom of espresso. You'll be happy to know, actually, that Syracuse was home to one of the most successful "resist Starbucks" campaigns in the country (for a city its size). I mean, they lost of course but they held out for awhile. They truly do love their freedom.

Other bad ideas for coffee shop names that I've had:

*What Would Jesus Brew?

*Macchiato Mechanics

And . . . in the spirt of "Freedom of Espresso"
*Fight for your Right to Latte

I appreciate that the Festa Italiana is sponsored exclusively by a Canadian beer company. but then, I'm sure Budweiser sponsors most of our Cinco de Mayo parties. So, in short, I have no point.
