I think Baltimore holds special powers. I love it although I have never been there. Chris was born there, but as he was a wee baby when his family moved, he doesn’t remember it. But he loves it too. Also, Quiet, Lovely randomly sings “Baltimore” at the end of one of their songs. And Paul Auster wrote a lot of stories set in Baltimore.

If all that doesn’t add up to special powers, I don’t know what does!

Hey I’m going to Baltimore this weekend for Baltimore Comic-Con. This will be my first time and now I’m a little depressed that Baltimore is quite the ugly city. Oh well. I think I’ll make my way down to Admiral’s Pub and drown my sorrows.

Heh – I totally remember when KTRU was shut down – I didn’t even go to Rice. I remember emailing you (with, I think Jess) and asking what’s up.

I thought KFC was the funniest thing ever. (Maybe I was easily amused at the time?)
