turns out the entire world is made up of star wars nerds

[photobucket is being all weird so you might not see the photos right now. ehhh sorry. stupid photobucket.]

it’s friday friday friday!

so, in case you haven’t seen the bazillion ads for it, star wars came
out yesterday. i went on opening night for the first two movies, but i
just couldn’t bring myself to go this time… since episodes one and
two sucked so much ass. never mind the fact that everyone says this
third movie is fantastic and awesome and visually stunning, blah blah
blah. gah george lucas i will not be yr bitch again!!!

ok well maybe i should have gone.

to console myself, i found these photos on the internet (thanks
associated press! whoever you are!) of very excited fans. oooh star
wars fans, you rock my world.

this photo was taken in lima, peru. nifty.

i really really like this one from NYC. although i don’t think i would
trust a guy dressed up like a storm trooper to direct my car. i mean,
HELLO, he works for DARTH VADER!!!

this one is my favorite!! i’m really jealous of that girl’s princess
leia costume. i dressed up like her for halloween when i was seven, and
my costume was made from like a sheet and my mom’s blue silver belt. i
didn’t get a fancy shmancy costume like this one, dammit, so i had to
make do by wearing a tiara.

i swear some of these guys in the next picture were slammed by triumph
the insult dog at the opening of “attack of the clones”. if you’ve
never seen this, for the love of all that is holy please watch it right now.

“have you ever talked to a girl without giving her yr credit card number first?!!”

damn the jedi and their tasty chickens!!!

who knew the associated press had such a wacky sense of humor? AP you crack me up with yr chicken pictures.

ok but i have to end this post with my favorite star wars fan picture
of ALL TIME. and it’s not from the associated press. oh no. yrs truly
took this photo in 1999 in the power suite. note the presence of not
one but TWO boba fetts.

ladies and gentlemen, i give you ray wagner in all of his jedi glory:

oh ray, i heart you.
