why my job is cool, reason #24:
adam, my supervisor (”the princess”), let me work through lunch so i can leave at 4 today to go to the ACL FESTIVAL!!!!!
i’m leaving in like 10 minutes. i am sooooooo excited.
tonite i will see:
the honorary title (if i can get there in time)
broken social scene
ryan adams
franz ferdinand (dancewhore madness!)
depending on the proximity of the stage, i might run over and catch part of the gomez set as well.
it’s like SXSW all over again! except without seth (who has to work!),
erica and ray (aka crutch boy). i’ll miss you guys. boo. i do, however,
have an ACL buddy, erik, who has already scouted out where trees are
cos it is FREAKING HOT here in austin. i’m dreading the fiery inferno
that will be zilker park. sigh. oh well, it’s a small sacrifice in the
name of live music.
plus i hope to run into josh and matt… and who knows who else!
eeeeeiiieeee i am really excited. i feel like i’m living the reasons why i wanted to move to austin in the first place…
p.s. i don’t know what happened, but now, when i hit “return”, it goes
to the next line instead of making it double spaced. this is awesome. i
