i spent the evening of the fourth doing exactly what i had hoped: dancing with kids and sparklers. it was perfect. i learned that veronica’s favorite colors are pink and orange, and she can ride her bike with one hand! rowan’s favorite food is carrots (!), and he thought the fireworks were a bit too loud.
and emily can’t talk yet but she certainly bounced herone and a half year old self around the street and found a particularly fascinating piece of white napkin that she waved around like a sign of surrender.
yeah, my parents have marvelous children on their street. i’m so jealous.
also, i saw three films. charlie’s angels made me want to wear glitter eyeshadow and stilettos while kicking major ass… damn those girls make it look easy! and then last nite jesse groh and i saw T3!!! claire was so freaking great. and jesse and i agreed that the end wasa bit of a surprise, which is always a good thing for movies in the blockbuster-action family.
i have nothing very deep to say, since it’s MONDAY and also i’ve been busy at work (a growing trend, i’m afraid). but that’s ok… i’ll just leach off some depth from my xanga compadres…
